Job Purpose:

Our organization seeks a skilled and experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead our transport team in providing excellent transport services to students and staff. Key Responsibilities:
  • Functional: Develop and administer a transportation program that meets the requirements of our organization's programs and student excursions; review and modify proposed routes as required for safety and efficiency purposes.
  • Manage Costs: Ensure that costs are managed effectively to meet preset targets.
  • Qualifications and Selection: Review qualifications of service partner applicants and make recommendations for selection.
  • Coordination and Training: Coordinate with service partners to ensure flexible deployment of deliveries and train bus drivers on necessary skills and licenses.
  • Annual Budget: Prepare and recommend the annual transport budget.
  • People Interaction: Engage transport teams to meet Key Performance Area (KPA) goals and productivity targets; manage relationships with parents to resolve transportation issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with relevant management teams to review operation performance and maintain working relationships with transport vendors.
Child Protection:
  • Reporting: Understand and adhere to mandatory reporting laws, ensuring that any concerns about a student's safety or well-being are promptly and properly reported to the appropriate parties.
  • Training and Confidentiality: Regularly update knowledge on child protection policies and practices; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to students unless disclosure is necessary for the safety of the child or as required by law.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualifications: Experience in transportation arrangement in an educational institution; diploma or degree holders.
