**Role Description**:
We are looking for a transport operator manager to be responsible for overseeing the operation of our company's transportation-related activities. In this role, you'll be keeping track of transportation operations and ensuring that all policies, procedures, and safety rules are followed by all team member.

**Specific Responsibilities**:
1. The trainee will be able to perform basic routine checks, operate wheel vehicles, and analyze the situation for any malfunctions or engine faults. All safety regulations must be known and followed by the trainee at all times.
2. The trainee will communicate with the company's transporter drivers to assign jobs and vehicles and to manage any delays or issues that arise along the route. Assist customers with all aspects of their transportation needs.
3.The trainee would be able to track and report on fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger counts. If there are any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage, the trainee will be able to report it to management.
4.The trainee will work with the director to understand how to plan and prepare an efficient transport scheduling and chartering for clients, as well as how to conduct contingency planning and manage a team to ensure the operation runs smoothly.

5. The trainee will work with the director to learn and understudy how to plan and schedule maintenance work, as well as to spot check for any technical issues that may arise following maintenance or if any repairs are required.

6. The trainee will be able to lead his or her team on various projects while adhering to strict deadlines. 7. The trainee will be able to accurately and efficiently to address any issues with drivers. He/she will be able to understand the required skills and knowledge to resolve client's issue 8. The Trainee will be abe to identify and suggest possible improvement on the procedures. The trainee will be able to monitor, track and follow up on driver’s movement daily

8. Critical thinking skills and knowledge of analytics.

4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months

5. Approved Training Allowance: Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $3800

6. Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role Under SGUnited Traineeship:
Mid-career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
