Active Ageing Centre Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Executive at the Active Ageing Centres.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the Centre Supervisor and Executive in the day-to-day execution of activities/tasks, ensuring seamless operations.

You will engage elderly residents in the community, encouraging them to participate in activities organized by the Active Ageing Centre.

To achieve this, you will organize social activities and outings for the community at the designated Active Ageing Centre.

In addition, you will co-plan and support integrated home-based or offsite programs/activities extended from the Centre, covering four of the five domains recommended by AIC (Physical; Cognitive; Social, Volunteerism, Learning).

You will also engage and support volunteers for programs and activities.

Responsibilities include sourcing suitable locations for activities and programs and delivering high-level customer service and engagement with seniors and community partners.

You will attend phone calls to the Centre hotline and walk-ins when the Admin Assistant is away.

A key aspect of this role is supporting targeted outreach and contact with seniors within the Centre's service cluster annually.

You will collect and compile data for KPI Submission on a weekly/monthly basis.

Requirements and Qualifications

O Level qualifications are required for this position.

We prefer candidates with 1 year of working experience in eldercare or befriending services.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

A passionate and sincere disposition to plan activities/outreach to active/frail seniors is a must.
