Role Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Physical Failure Analysis Engineer/Senior Engineer.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting failure analysis and material characterization using TEM-EDS techniques for various IC devices. This role involves working in a rotation shift mode with quarterly day and night shifts, which is compensated with an attractive allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform failure analysis and material characterization by TEM-EDS techniques for different IC devices.
  • To compile analytical reports of FIB/TEM related analysis work.
  • To communicate closely with customers to understand analytical requirements, select suitable analysis techniques, and interpret data.
  • To participate actively in new FIB-TEM development work to drive PFA quality.
  • To document new failure analysis operating procedures, training, and certification specifications.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Material Science, or other science-related fields.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome, and intensive training will be provided.
  • Senior positions require hands-on experience in TEM-EDS for at least two years.
  • Strong language and communication skills are essential.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive independently is required.
  • Strong language and reporting skills are necessary.
