Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Built Environment Specialist to join our research project for Cities of Tomorrow (CoT). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring a resilient urban environment against climate change and contributing to our strategic research in Resilient Urbanisation & Natural Ecosystems.

The specialist will be responsible for assisting in field and laboratory tests, developing test protocols, compiling test data and maintaining databases, conducting analysis and evaluation, and preparing budgets and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field and laboratory tests to gather data on sustainable built environments
  • Develop and implement test protocols to evaluate the resilience of urban environments
  • Compile and maintain databases of test data to inform research decisions
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainable built environment solutions
  • Prepare comprehensive budgets and reports for research projects
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or related field
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for report writing and presentation
  • Proficiency in software such as Python and 3D modelling software
  • A Class 3 driving license (Singapore) is an advantage
