This role is responsible for the development of software for various vertical transportation systems. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial part in shaping the design and implementation of these systems.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software for HDB, private, and modernisation systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with client specifications.
- Review electrical schematic diagram drawings from the Hardware Design Department to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare documentation, notices, instructions, and contract-related materials as needed.
- Provide factory support by assisting testing staff with job software design and technical troubleshooting during system testing.
- Ensure software designs meet project timelines, client specifications, and are optimised for cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in investigating software errors, develop corrective measures, and implement preventive strategies.
- Offer field support by assisting installation staff during on-site installations, troubleshoot problems, and modify software as necessary.
The ideal candidate should have a diploma (at least 3 years) or degree in Electrical Engineering, proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, etc., and experience with schematic or single-line designs/drawings.
Remuneration will be based on qualification and experience.
Required Skills and QualificationsA strong background in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on software development and design. Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++ is essential. Experience with schematic or single-line designs/drawings is also required.
