Job Title: Senior Risk Manager, Payments APAC

Amazon Asia-Pacific Holdings Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our global payments organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks to our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with payments business and technology leaders to identify emerging risks and opportunities throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage a forward-looking risk assessment roadmap for the business.
  • Perform risk assessments for new products/features and existing processes/systems to surface risks across all risk categories.
  • Enable risk reporting, as well as oversight and escalation mechanisms, to ensure key risks are addressed prior to launch.
  • Define and implement risk tracking and reporting for each business and contribute to aggregate risk reporting for the payments organization overall.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to the management team regarding emerging risks, status of risk assessments, and control performance.
  • Lead post-launch reviews to capture new risk scenarios; conduct deep dives on repeated errors to eliminate defects.
  • Serve as an advisor and subject matter expert on technology, operational, financial, and/or information risks and control mechanisms to prevent fraud, abuse, and other operational risks.
  • Promote best practices and leverage internal risk management tools, resources, and mechanisms to influence the risk culture and risk maturity of each business team.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal risk management tools, resources, training, and mechanisms that can scale with the organization.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of compliance, audit, or risk management experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent.
