About the Role:This senior role involves leading a team in policy formulation, review and implementation to develop higher education landscape. As part of the University Policy Branch, you will contribute to strategic planning for Autonomous Universities sector.
- Develop policies for governance, funding, educational pathways and student engagement in AUs to prepare students for work and life.
- Conduct long-term strategic planning to enhance AUs' strengths and reputation.
- Guide AUs on operationalizing policies and coordinate with other divisions for support.
- Represent AU sector's interests in international collaborations related to university education.
- Support political office holders and senior management in local and overseas engagements.
- Formulate, review and implement policies concerning Autonomous Universities sector.
- Conduct strategic planning for the AU sector to prepare AUs and students for future challenges.
- Guide AUs on operationalizing policies and coordinate with other MOE divisions for support.
- Assess opportunities and represent the AU sector's interests in international collaborations related to university education.
- Support MOE political office holders and senior management in local and overseas engagements.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, quantitative, written and communication skills.
- Resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity.
- Able to consider perspectives from macro to operational levels.
