We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the position of Cooks and Kitchen Assistants. Our restaurant serves authentic Tiong Bahru Boneless Hainanese Chicken Rice, and we need individuals who can help us maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking: Prepare ingredients, portion and plate steamed, roasted, or poached chicken according to guidelines, cook and monitor rice using traditional chicken stock method, and warm or reheat side dishes as needed.
  • Kitchen Operations: Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen station, tools, and equipment, store food safely and correctly following food hygiene standards, and assist with stock checks.
  • Kitchen Assistant: Assist in basic food preparation, such as washing, cutting, and portioning chicken, vegetables, and other ingredients, help with plating chicken rice dishes, soups, and sides during peak hours, and prepare sauces, condiments, and garnishes according to set recipes or instructions.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of relevant working experience in the preparation of chicken rice is preferred
  2. Able to work long hours and on weekends and public holidays
