Role SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Development & Estate Department as a Senior Assistant Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including managing building systems, contracting and procurement, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the operation and maintenance of building systems in NIE.
- Manage the procurement and administration of contracts for maintenance and project works.
- Supervise and oversee the implementation of daily and cyclical cleaning, landscaping, and pest control programs.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with planned schedules and expected standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and external authorities to resolve any issues related to contractual matters.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
- At least 5 years' work experience in the building or facilities management industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
