Job Description:

The Resident Technical Officer will provide qualified supervision services for a major infrastructure project.

This role involves regular site inspections, monitoring progress work and reinstatement works, with weekly progress reports submitted to stakeholders.

A key aspect of the job is ensuring all works comply with relevant building codes and regulations, documenting and reporting any site deviations from approved as-built plans. The RTO must maintain records of inspections, observations, and correspondence related to all works. Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure all works are completed within the targeted timeframe, conduct final inspections to verify satisfactory completion of works, and restore the site to its original condition. They will also assist in resolving disputes or claims related to all works.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Accredited with JAC (IES-ACES).
  • Hold a qualification in Civil and Structural disciplines.
  • Have at least 2 years' sewer experience.
  • Be well conversant in local legislation, regulations, and codes.
