Job Summary:

A financial professional is required to join the accounting team in the General Ledger (GL) reporting section. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly accounts payable (AP) payments and Statement of Accounts (SOA) reconciliations, reviewing invoices submitted via the electronic procurement system, and monitoring balance sheet items.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare related monthly AP payment and SOA reconciliation reports.
  2. Act as the first approver/reviewer of all invoices submitted via the electronic procurement system.
  3. Act as second reviewer of tender board reports and ensure all accounting codes are correct.
  4. Monitor balance sheet items and follow up with respective supervisors on outstanding items.
  5. Responsible for the timely, accurate, and complete preparation of daily carrier remittances for both batches.
  6. Post related AP transactions/journal entries.
  7. Support the portfolio of other team members through a buddy system.
  8. Provide support for internal and external audits.
  9. Perform ad-hoc assignments as requested by the manager or head of department.
