Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to handle our General Ledger (GL) accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing month-end closing and posting of journals, including provisions, accruals, deferrals, reclassifications.

They will work closely with other team members to ensure all financials are reported accurately and on time. Key tasks include preparing monthly reporting, cash forecast, and group reporting. Additionally, the GL Accountant will prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation and investigate any unusual items.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance to company policies and maintaining strong internal controls. This includes preparing audit schedules and managing the entire audit process.

Finally, the GL Accountant will finalize Financial Reports and ensure all statutory reporting is in compliance, including statistical surveys. Tax compliance, such as GST, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Tax, will also be managed by this role.
