The Demand Planner is a key position within our organization, responsible for managing demand planning based on customer forecasts and actual demand.

This role ensures timely delivery while maintaining optimal inventory levels, driving operational efficiency and minimizing stockouts or overages.

The ideal candidate will work closely with customers to assess forecast accuracy and reliability, using this data to develop strategic inventory management plans.

Leveraging insights from customer forecasts, the Demand Planner supports a seamless supply chain process by coordinating with relevant teams to align schedules with forecasted requirements.

  • Develop and maintain plans based on a 6-month rolling forecast and actual customer demand.
  • Analyze monthly variances between forecasted and actual demand to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies in customer forecasts.
  • Prepare and present monthly forecast accuracy reports to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Conduct regular reviews with customers to discuss forecast reliability and accuracy, collaborating with them to improve forecast quality and responsiveness.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance forecasting practices and develop inventory buffer strategies based on forecast reliability metrics.
