Mathematics Department Support

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mathematics Intern to support the mathematics department in various tasks.

  • Contribute to curriculum design, lesson preparation, and assessment creation.
  • Support organisation and administration of international mathematics competitions.
  • Develop new competitions within affiliated organisations.
  • Coordinate logistics for mathematics trips and events.
  • Create problem-solving activities and enrichment programs for Maths CCAs.
  • Maintain and update displays to encourage engagement with mathematics.
  • Support staff and students during lessons.
Essential Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in relevant subject OR currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in mathematics education and student engagement.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal abilities, especially with students.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Creative and resourceful in developing educational materials and displays.
  • Prior experience in tutoring, mentoring, or educational support is preferred but not essential.
