Academic Mathematics Instructor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a mathematics educator to fill this role.

This position offers the chance for an experienced teacher to contribute their expertise in teaching mathematics to students.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering high-quality educational programs in mathematics.

  • Plan and deliver mathematics lessons to students at various levels of proficiency
  • Assess student progress and performance in mathematics and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve mathematics curricula
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

  • Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs
  • Evaluate student learning outcomes and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Maintain a well-organized and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with peers to enhance curriculum quality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess a strong background in mathematics education, including a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

You should also have experience in teaching mathematics to students at various levels of proficiency.

  • ESL teaching certifications such as CELTA, TESOL, TESL
  • Knowledge of further mathematics
  • Professional teacher qualifications
  • Fluency in Mandarin (although not compulsory)
  • Able to speak English with a neutral accent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and logical thinker with excellent teamwork skills
