**Technical Specialist Role Overview**\

As a Technical Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of new media technology. This hands-on position offers a unique opportunity to put your technical skills to the test every day.

**Key Responsibilities:**\
  • \
  • Hands-on Systems Deployment: Lead the installation, setup, and deployment of AV and IT systems, including hands-on work with wiring, cabling, and using hand/power tools to ensure every project is executed with precision.\
  • Customer Support & Training: Provide direct technical support to clients, resolving issues and training users to ensure they can use their new systems effectively.\
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Serve as a go-to expert for troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues, working with partners to find solutions and manage the RMA process for equipment.\
  • Project Execution: Read and interpret technical plans and diagrams to ensure all specifications are met, responsible for the seamless execution of projects from initial setup to final delivery.\

**Requirements:**\

We need a self-starter with a solid technical background and a can-do attitude. Key qualifications include:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Professional Audio, Video, Lighting, and IT networks.\
  • Experience: 1-2 years of verifiable, hands-on experience setting up and supporting these types of systems, with experience in live production or multimedia technology a big plus.\
  • Specialized Knowledge: Any experience with Q-SYS Design (LUA or Block) programming makes you a very strong candidate.\
  • Customer Focus: Able to confidently talk to clients and provide professional, clear support.\
  • Work Ethic: Efficient, adaptable, and willing to learn, with a reliable and ownership-oriented approach to work.\
  • Education: A diploma in a media technology-related field is preferred but not required if you have the right experience.\
