Job Title: Risk Management Professional - Construction & Property Expert

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Risk Management Professional - Construction & Property Expert. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in conducting insurable construction and operational risk surveys for regional clients.

You will be responsible for providing risk and insurance advisory services, risk assessment, data analytics, loss prevention, and technical claims support. Your extensive knowledge of Highly Protected Risk (HPR) standards, international codes and standards, fire and life safety systems, and project and construction risk management techniques will be invaluable to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide strategic risk consulting services to construction and operational clients.
  • Design and coordinate detailed risk engineering services with account teams, clients, and underwriters.
  • Lead the execution of underwriting surveys, ensuring client and insurer satisfaction.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk profile reports highlighting hazards and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop balanced risk improvement recommendations for clients and insurers.
  • Calculate worst-case loss scenarios across industries and insurance lines.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality reports and deliverables.
  • Provide technical support on risk issues to clients and broking teams.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of claims, lead technical investigations, and liaise with claims advocates.
  • Maintain risk management tracking and information tools.
Requirements:
  • Extensive industry experience in design, construction, operations, or risk consulting within Asia.
  • Expertise in HPR, fire, and security standards.
  • Degree or equivalent with relevant risk management certifications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Asia.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Proven report writing skills in English.
  • Experience conducting construction/property risk surveys.
  • Knowledge of Asian, NFPA, FM, and international property codes.
  • Understanding of NATCAT risks and mitigation.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
