Job Title: Financial Analyst - Corporate Accounting
About the RoleThis is a key position within our finance team, requiring an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.
Your Responsibilities- Review contracts and proposals for revenue and non-revenue transactions, providing accounting guidance.
- Prepare documentation and memos supporting the company's accounting positions and addressing audit questions.
- Partner with the business to ensure documentation for financial audits and internal controls is prepared and retained.
- Support the monthly financial statement close process and assist the SEC reporting team with disclosures as needed.
- Implement and document internal controls around financial statement close processes, such as contract reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance.
- Ability to apply technical accounting guidance to transaction scenarios.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills in accounting.
