Job Title: IT Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to provide daily operational and technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and basic network issues. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily IT support for hardware, software, and network issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and manage IT activities across multiple site offices, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Implement ITIL principles with a strong emphasis on Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Administer VMware Virtualization, Microsoft 365 Office cloud, and IBM Lotus Notes/Domino, ensuring secure and efficient operation of these systems.
  • Manage server, network, and firewall administration, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Resolve Level 1 and 2 PC/application issues, escalating Level 3 application issues to third-party vendors as necessary.
  • Adhere to internal Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and deliverables, maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Document tasks and processes, providing clear and concise information for future reference.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma/degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, with relevant industry experience.
  • 1-2 years of system administration experience in MS Windows Server Systems, VMware Virtualization, Microsoft 365 cloud, and IBM Lotus Notes/Domino System Administration.
  • Familiarity with PC hardware, MS Windows Desktop/Server OS, Linux, MS A/D, and basic network knowledge.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Office 365, IBM Lotus Notes/Domino, MCSE, CCNA are advantageous.
  • Team player with a positive attitude towards learning, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently.
