Job Title: Content Specialist

We are seeking a skilled content specialist to join our team. As a content specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content that is engaging and informative.

  • You will be working closely with our editorial team to refine content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and adherence to editorial standards.

  • Your role will involve building rapport and effectively communicating with interviewees, as well as asking insightful questions and following up on responses to obtain comprehensive information.

  • You will also be responsible for writing in a style that is accessible to a broad audience while maintaining accuracy and depth.

  • In addition, you will locate, analyze, and summarize official documents and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English language or a related field.

  • Business-level English language skills: Proficiency in English for both internal and external communication.

  • Native-level Japanese language skills: Fluency in Japanese for reporting and writing.

  • Ability to create charts and diagrams using Excel: Skilled in using Excel to create visual data representations.

  • Highly mobile and proactive: Willingness and ability to travel for on-site interviews and other fieldwork.

  • Persistent in information gathering and writing: Strong research skills and dedication to producing high-quality written content.

  • Experience as a journalist or editor is preferred: Previous experience in journalism or editing is advantageous, but not mandatory.
