Job Title: Automotive Finance Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Finance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the administrative and operational aspects of in-house car loan processing.

  • Lending Operations

    The Automotive Finance Coordinator will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing car loan applications to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.

    • Verify applicant eligibility based on criteria such as credit history, income, and Total Debt Servicing Ratio (TDSR) limits.

    • Coordinate with customers to collect required documents and clarify application details.

  • Compliance and Record-Keeping

    The Automotive Finance Coordinator must ensure that all loan agreements comply with regulations, including loan-to-value (LTV) limits and maximum loan tenure.

    • Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and disbursements in compliance with company policies and lending regulations.

    • Update hire purchase details after vehicle registration.

  • Credit Management

    The Automotive Finance Coordinator will work closely with the collections team to monitor loan repayments and follow up on overdue accounts.

    • Assist in initiating recovery processes for defaulted loans, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.

  • Customer Support

    The Automotive Finance Coordinator will provide excellent customer service by explaining loan terms, repayment schedules, and interest rates to customers.

    • Liaise with sales teams and car dealers to streamline the loan application process and ensure timely vehicle delivery.

    • Address customer inquiries regarding loan status, repayment options, and early settlement fees.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Automotive Finance Coordinator will manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and updating loan statuses in the company's CRM or financial software.
