Job Title: Data Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs.

  • Design and build scalable data architectures using various technologies such as databases, data warehouses, and big data platforms.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure high-quality and timely data delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, AWS DMS, or Glue.
  • Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, SQL, or R.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with data governance policies and security best practices.
  • Experience working on government projects.
