Job Title: Reinsurance (Actuarial)

At Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (PTE) Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Reinsurance (Actuarial) professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze reinsurance data, including cost of reinsurance, sum at risk statistics, and retention levels.
  • Develop and maintain reinsurance reporting to regulatory bodies, senior management, and local and group offices.
  • Collaborate with Product, Pricing, and Operations teams to support new product launches, initiatives, and campaigns involving reinsurance partnerships.
  • Work closely with the reporting team to provide reinsurance solutions for financial and capital optimization.
  • Ensure timely administration of reinsurance transactions and settlement with the Finance department.
  • Responsible for timely signing and execution of reinsurance treaties backing all reinsurance arrangements.
  • Comply with controls and standard operating procedures around reinsurance system setup, changes, and enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive outcomes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Detailed-oriented.
  • Committed to excellence and always striving to deliver results with high standards.
  • Experience with Prophet model and ALS, data processing/conversion software e.g. SQL/DCS/Alteryx is preferred.
Working Experience:
  • 1 – 4 years of relevant experience in actuarial roles or positions.
  • Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
Professional Qualifications:
  • Good progress in actuarial examinations from a recognized professional actuarial body.
Education:
  • Degree in Actuarial.
