We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Scientist. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions that drive business growth and improvement. You will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced manufacturing solutions that enable the achievement of industry leading manufacturing capability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, AI, and machine learning. They will possess excellent problem-solving skills, with a logical approach to tackling complex issues. A proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Development: Design and develop smart manufacturing and AI solutions that optimize factory scheduling, optimization, and simulation.
  • Data Analysis: Develop high-quality data analytics and applications that provide insights and drive actions to inform management and manufacturing teams' decisions.
  • Frontier Exploration: Explore new frontier ideas, concepts, and technologies and apply them to drive breakthrough solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work with management, different departments, and global manufacturing sites to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver solutions that enhance production metrics.

Requirements:

  • Motivation: Be highly motivated, proactive, with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and collaborate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with logical approach.
  • Educational Background: Masters/Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in C#, Python, SQL; experience with Snowflake, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience in optimization and CPLEX strongly preferred; knowledge and experience in reinforcement learning preferred; direct experience with factory scheduling, simulation, and application development preferred.
