Job Title: Software Developer - Smart ManufacturingAbout the Role:

This is a contract position based in Jurong West. We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to contribute to the development of scalable, self-learning and self-optimizing production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop integrated Operational Technology for smart manufacturing
  • Design and implement OT and AI-enabled production systems
  • Explore autonomous manufacturing domain to provide innovative solutions for industry problems
  • Develop data interoperability and data pipelines setups
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in industry and/or R&D projects (shopfloor data connectivity, Manufacturing Execution system and software backend development).

Proficient programming skills in Python, C/C++, .Net, Node.js, JavaScript are required.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with OPC-UA, MQTT, Profibus, RS-232, extracting data from various PLCs and microservice architecture would be advantageous.
