About the Role

This is a leadership role that involves providing commercial and financial expertise to our sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in a regional role within a major FMCG company, with strong business partner aspects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Partnering:
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify key market trends, customer insights, and brand performance drivers.
  • Develop plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Provide timely information and support to ensure trade and brand investments align with budget targets.
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Support the development and completion of the annual budget and monthly rolling forecasts.
  • Ensure consistent and logical assumptions in planning processes.
  • Meet deadlines and complete tasks in a robust manner.
Insights:
  • Analyze market, brand, and price data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Develop recommendations for portfolio, promotion, and pricing strategies to address identified risks and opportunities.
  • Share post-promotional reviews with the team.
Reporting:
  • Complete monthly closing and reporting requirements accurately and efficiently.
  • Focus on key performance drivers in actual performance analysis.
  • Support governance and risk management processes across the international business unit.

Requirements

  1. Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of financial and commercial experience in a major FMCG company with a strong business partner aspect.
Professional Qualities:
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to multitask and plan deliverables.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is SGD 120,000 - SGD 180,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
