We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team as a Digital Design Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital test instruments using advanced Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital design, including experience with various DFT instruments such as Memory Built-In Self-Test (MBIST), On-Chip Clock Controller (OCC), Test Access Port (TAP) controller, Boundary Scan, Logic Built-In Self-Test (LBIST), Streaming Scan Network (SSN), and other related technologies.
In addition to designing and developing digital test instruments, the Digital Design Specialist will also be responsible for performing integration and verification of test functions with industrial simulation tools and in-house verification tools.
Other key responsibilities include generating and verifying test patterns, assisting with test pattern debugging on ATE machines, carrying out failure analysis, and researching advanced DFT techniques.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field, with coursework in digital logic design and computer architecture.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of hands-on experience in digital DFT design, logic simulation, synthesis, formal verification, ATE test, and silicon failure analysis.
Solid knowledge of ASIC development and proficiency in Linux shell scripting and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Tcl, and Make are also essential.
