We are looking for a Design Operations (DesignOps) Specialist to join our fast-growing Product Design organisation (sitting under Platform Support) to ensure the "back of house" processes and capability of the Product Design teams are working productively and efficiently. We’re seeking a results-oriented individual who can ensure designers have the right tools and processes to create awesome experiences, whilst keeping a handle on budget, timelines, and design asset management.

**Your Accountabilities**

You are expected to play an integral role in shaping the design culture and workflow, and collaborate closely on big and meaningful design challenges, including:

- Actively engage the designers, engineers, and product managers within the product development and design (PDD) team members to comply with design tools, principles, processes, and standards set for design work at DFI Digital.
- Create, socialise, and implement the unified SOP (standard operating procedures) and design language set for DFI Digital, in alignment with stakeholders such as HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and any other operational teams within the DFI group.
- Facilitate processes required by the Product Design organisation, such as software, design services, and / or training procurement with vendors and internal stakeholders (PDD Heads, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and any other operational teams).
- Create the centralised organisation of research data, design assets, templates, and/or working documents for ease-of-use across DFI Digital by leveraging available systems for cross-sharing platform enablement.
- Create and contribute to the development of playbooks for growing productive design capability at DFI Digital.
- Manage and maintain allocation of system and tool licenses to designers across DFI Digital.
- Support the co-ordination of equipment and logistics for the team (e.g. design research operations, travel planning, team bonding, workshop events, among others).

**About you**
- Experience working in-house or at a design agency, with a focus on design operations, program management, and experience of supporting a design team in a project management capacity is vital to the role. Preferably familiar with digital technologies and productivity tools, financial and/or procurement administration system, and Statement of Work or relevant legal documentation.
- Desire to join a dynamic and diverse creative team that is transforming DFI Retail group and the eCommerce industry. A keen eye for details, organised, and motivated to help team members to work productively is a must.
- A structured approach to work and are an advocate for human-centred design (HCD) and Design Thinking. Knowledge of agile, Lean UX, or product methodologies and experience working in a collaborative environment will be a great asset.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate spoken Mandarin is a great to have
- A deep sense of accountability, adaptability, and embracing ambiguity in working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with willingness to learn and iterate the design solutions, proactive with improving design solutions, and passionate about design and storytelling.
- The ability to form consensus across a broad, fast-moving organization through excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including: negotiation, constructive feedback, presentation, managing expectations, resolve conflicts).
