Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Hospitality Ambassador. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless service delivery across all concierge-related services.

About the Role:

  • Manage and oversee the activities of Concierges, Bell Services and Doormen to ensure they adhere to hotel policies, procedures and standards.
  • Train and develop associates to provide hospitable, outgoing and guest-oriented service.
  • Ensure smooth workflow of driveway and lobby areas.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and performance appraisals in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Manage message, luggage and parcel deliveries, ensuring no loss or mismanagement of items.
  • Stay up-to-date with local events, transportation options and city highlights to provide guests with relevant information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome guests warmly and personally, providing them with accurate information regarding directions, travel time, cost and various forms of transportation.
  2. Be updated on local events, concerts, public holidays, shows, trade shows, diplomatic offices and shopping information.
  3. Maintain an extensive database of city highlights and arrange tickets for theatre, sporting events and local attractions.
  4. Make and confirm transportation arrangements with contracted limousine companies, prioritizing in-house vehicles.
  5. Update guests on dining options and confirm reservations, providing written, printed or computer-generated confirmation documents.
  6. Communicate effectively with colleagues and train, coach and support team members.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with emergency procedures and hotel policies.
  • Ability to work closely with other sections of Rooms Division.
  • Willingness to report guest complaints and any issues to the supervisor.
