Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing field service attendances and troubleshooting/repairing cranes, grabs, windlasses, hatch cover hydraulics, and davits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems relevant to process industries
  • Provide technical expertise on PLC-controlled electro-hydraulic systems used in process industries for automation and control
  • Read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams essential for maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems critical in process industries where downtime can lead to significant losses
  • Supervise a team of mechanics and lead large repair projects that can be translated to managing teams in process industries
  • Write technical reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders ensuring compliance and keeping all parties informed about project statuses

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic systems relevant to process industries
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC-controlled electro-hydraulic systems used in process industries for automation and control
  • Ability to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams essential for maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Capability to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems critical in process industries where downtime can lead to significant losses
  • Experience supervising a team of mechanics and leading large repair projects that can be translated to managing teams in process industries
  • Ability to write technical reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders ensuring compliance and keeping all parties informed about project statuses
