Job Description:
The Senior Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint (both Online and On-Premise). This individual will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. They will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, comprehensive functional and technical requirements for Microsoft 365 applications and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Development: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design end-to-end architecture for Microsoft 365 environments. Develop and customize Microsoft 365 solutions using out-of-the-box features, Power Platform tools, and potentially custom code.
- Microsoft 365 Environment Management and Administration: Manage SharePoint site collections, sites, and subsites. Define, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 security protocols, including user permissions, groups, and access controls. Establish and enforce content management policies and best practices.
- Collaboration and Support: Maintain clear communication with business users, IT teams, and management regarding Microsoft 365 solutions and project progress. Provide expert technical support to end-users and develop comprehensive user documentation.
- Leadership and Strategy: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members. Effectively manage Microsoft 365-related projects and contribute valuable insights to the organization's digital workplace strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint (both Online and On-Premise).
- Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, infrastructure, and best practices, as well as broader M365 service knowledge.
- Proven experience with SharePoint development and customization, including knowledge of Power Platform tools and custom code.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and their integration, including Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 security principles, user management, and permissions.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
