Job Title
The Logistics Billing Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate billing for logistics services.

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for generating and sending invoices to customers, adhering to company policies and client agreements, reviewing client accounts and billing histories for accuracy and completeness, and correcting billing errors promptly.

This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. You must be proficient in invoicing and billing systems, data entry, and record-keeping practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and monitoring client payments, following up on overdue payments, and resolving any payment issues that may arise.

You will also be responsible for preparing and generating regular reports on billing and payment statuses, assisting in reconciling accounts receivable balances, and maintaining accurate records for financial report preparation. Finally, you will ensure that all billing practices comply with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Invoicing and Billing: Generate and send accurate invoices to clients, ensure adherence to company policies and client agreements, review client accounts and billing histories for accuracy and completeness, and correct billing errors promptly.
* Data Entry and Record Keeping: Input billing data into the company's accounting or billing system, maintain detailed records of transactions, invoices, and payment histories, and ensure up-to-date client and payment information in the system.
* Payment Processing: Track and monitor client payments, follow up on overdue payments via phone or email, apply payments to the correct accounts, and resolve any payment issues that may arise.
* Reporting: Prepare and generate regular reports on billing and payment statuses, assist in reconciling accounts receivable balances, and maintain accurate records for financial report preparation.
* Compliance and Auditing: Ensure that all billing practices comply with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
