Maintaining the efficiency of equipment is key to ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic environment. As a Reliability Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team to execute maintenance works safely, timely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage technicians to execute maintenance works safely, timely, and efficiently.
- Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and failure analysis to determine equipment/machinery failure causes.
- Attend and resolve operation equipment breakdowns within a short timeframe.
- Review and conduct technical investigations of production equipment problems, evaluate findings, prepare analysis reports, and recommend countermeasures to enhance equipment reliability.
- Develop, review, and implement risk assessments for mechanical and electrical work activities.
- Support new recycling process/product introductions and setting up of new facilities & SOP.
- Manage fixed assets and stocks movement, follow up on purchase requests, and delivery of parts.
- Develop, review, and implement production equipment maintenance procedures to improve equipment maintenance methodology.
- Ensure all documents & reports generated related projects, update, and maintain maintenance and inventory records and reports.
- Provide guidance and training for supervisors and technicians to develop their skills and expertise on processes and equipment.
- Provide technical expertise for operational processes, implementing technical solutions to improve equipment uptime and asset utilization through a continuous improvement mindset.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or its equivalent, with 3-5 years of mechanical machinery maintenance experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Problem solver, analytical, and a team player who displays proactiveness and initiatives and takes ownership and is accountable.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
