Job Description
Senior Occupational Therapists are sought after to join our team in a Pediatrics setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the developmental, sensory, and motor skills of children from infancy to adolescence.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with pediatric populations and possess excellent assessment and intervention skills. They will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support functional independence in home, school, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assessing developmental, sensory, and motor skills of children (infants to adolescents)
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support functional independence in home, school, and community settings
- Providing interventions for sensory integration, fine motor coordination, handwriting, self-care skills, and play-based learning
- Collaborating with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to support child development goals
- Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy goals and strategies accordingly
- Conducting caregiver education and home program training
- Supervising junior OTs or therapy assistants where required
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant clinical experience
- AHPC registration required
- Pediatric training or prior work in a pediatric setting
