Job Role: Children and Youth Care Mentor

This role requires an individual who can provide guidance and support to children and youth, promoting their overall development and well-being.

  • Teaching and Mentoring: Deliver lesson content to children and youth, focusing on their academic growth and personal development.
  • Supervision and Support: Supervise primary school children (P1 to P6) and youth (secondary), providing mentorship to ensure completion of daily assignments and activities.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community-based initiatives that promote the wellbeing of children, youth, and families.
  • Program Planning and Management: Plan and prepare teacher-guided activities and conduct mentorship programs with youth, adhering to center policies and guidelines.
  • Communication and Liaison: Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and behavior.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications: GCE N/O/A levels or Diploma and above.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate a team player attitude and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Effective Communication: Possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Resourcefulness: Show resourcefulness in providing engaging activities and programs for children and youth.
  • Passion for Child Development: Possess a genuine passion for nurturing the development of children and youth.

Additional Information:

Experience working with children and youth is preferred but not required. We provide training and support for those without prior experience.
