**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled System Implementation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day operations of IT services, ensuring that all IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of IT services, including managing outsourced vendors and in-house contractors.
  • Manage change requests, service requests, and production support issues to ensure service levels are met.
  • Review system designs and technical specifications to ensure all requirements are captured to meet system objectives.
  • Review post-production issues and identify root cause, working with vendors on preventive measures.
  • Plan, execute, and support system implementation, software/hardware upgrades, and security patches.
  • Manage the verification of software patches and upgrades for applications.
  • Measure, monitor, and continuously improve the performance of IT services.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in application production support on Java and.NET applications in both Unix and Windows operating environments.
  • Experience in incident management, problem management, release management, root cause analysis, and deployment.
  • Understanding of SDLC and experience working with business users, various IT teams, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of web languages (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft SQL) and application servers (e.g. IIS, WebSphere Application Server).
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-driven, creative, and team-oriented person with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required.
  • Possess strong information acquisition, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organization skills and able to work with minimal supervision in a rapidly changing environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Certification or formal training in ITIL.
