Industrial Automation Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing control system software using industrial automation platforms such as Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7, Yokogawa, and Rockwell Studio 5000.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in industrial software coding and be proficient in PLC programming languages including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram (FBD). Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, industrial networking, and communication protocols is also required.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver integrated industrial control solutions. Experience with energy management systems, hydrogen production, and electrolyzers is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and debug control system software using industrial automation platforms.
  • Integrate control systems with SCADA for monitoring, alarms, and supervisory control.
  • Implement and maintain industrial communication protocols.
  • Support software commissioning during FAT, SAT, and site deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong experience in PLC programming and industrial software development on Beckhoff, Siemens, Yokogawa, or Rockwell systems.
  • Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, industrial networking, and communication protocols.
