DeltaV System Engineer Job Description:

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DeltaV System Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering DeltaV application systems, as well as participating in the development and implementation of automation solutions in line with S88 standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Emerson DeltaV DCS systems, including experience with DeltaV Batch. Strong technical skills, particularly in control systems, networking, and PLC control systems, are essential. Additionally, familiarity with batch s88 standards, GAMP lifecycle, and quality management processes employed in the pharmaceutical sector is required.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer orientation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver DeltaV application systems
  • Participate in the development and implementation of automation solutions
  • Develop and/or review system development life cycle (SDLC) deliverables
  • Determine processes and data flow that support project needs
  • Design and develop plans for modifications to be made to the system
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry
  • Emerson DeltaV DCS system experience and DeltaV Batch experience
  • Technical proficiency on controls systems, including familiarity with control panels, networking, panel/field wiring, and PLC control systems
  • Familiarity with batch s88 standards, GAMP lifecycle, and quality management processes employed in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
