Our team is looking for a Senior Telecom Systems Specialist to join our group of professionals who are responsible for identifying, analyzing, and aligning business demands with overall objectives. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, communicating knowledge and innovation, and assisting the project manager/lead engineer in smooth running and implementation of projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Design telecommunications systems, including radio communication systems, security systems, navigation aids, and wired communication systems.

  • Prepare drawings, specifications for procurement of equipment, develop detailed system designs, select telecom equipment, and provide input for preparation of selected reports.

  • Coordinate with other disciplines, take professional responsibility, and participate in all engineering phases (feasibility, concept, feed, detailed).

  • Understand and interpret requirements from customers and authorities, clarify design certification with customers and 3rd party.

  • Participate in customer visits and contact, participate in technical project meetings, and ensure system knowledge by having experience in at least one of the following categories: Radio Communication Systems, Security Systems, Navigation Aids, or Wired Communication.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or IT is required.

  • Personal Qualities:

  • Prefer experience in relevant industry such as oil & gas, marine, shipyard, petrochemical, power plant is a MUST.

  • Able to lead a team of telecom engineers/junior telecom engineers to meet various project schedules and customer expectations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, team player with positive and proactive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken English), ability to work independently and as part of a team.
