Job Title: Senior Corporate Banking Officer

This role is a key contributor to the growth of our Corporate Loan business in the Southeast Asian region, focusing on Korean & non-Korean Corporate Clients.

The responsibilities include originating loan deals, crafting and presenting credit applications to stakeholders, reviewing loan agreements, and performing post-deal risk management. Key tasks involve:

  • ">
  • Developing Corporate Loan business (syndicated & bilateral loans) in the Southeast Asia region, targeting new Korean & non-Korean Corporate Clients">
  • Maintaining strong relationships with international, regional & local commercial banks to ensure good client service">
  • Writing & presenting credit applications, reviewing loan agreements, and performing post-deal risk management (in English & Korean)">
  • Reviewing credit documentation (Korean) to meet Korean regulator's requirements">
  • Reviewing client due diligence & financial analysis">
  • Keeping abreast of international lending markets & banking activities to understand & anticipate trends, particularly in the Southeast Asia region">
  • Proactively sharing market information with colleagues in Head Office & overseas branches (English & Korean)">
  • Preparing regular & ad-hoc management reports (Korean) for Head Office">
  • Mentoring a team of associate relationship managers to meet departmental business goals">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • Bachelor or Masters' Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics or related disciplines and/or Professional Qualifications such as CFA, CPA">
  • 10 years' experience in Banking industry including good experience in writing & presenting corporate banking credit application (English & Korean)">
  • Good experience in Financial Modelling & performing KYC on corporate clients">
  • Prior supervisory experience in the Corporate Banking environment. Ability to guide and mentor associate relationship managers">
  • Business level proficiency in written & verbal English & Korean required for communication with Korean Clients, Head Office, Singapore Branch & Overseas Branches">
