About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Strategic Planning and Business Management team as a First Vice President. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans and business management initiatives across Group Channels and Digitalization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and business management initiatives to drive growth and performance across Group Channels and Digitalization.
  • Lead the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to measure business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and develop business strategies and plans aligned to Group aspirations.
  • Provide thought leadership on Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework design, KPI development, and measurement methodologies.
  • Build and manage key senior stakeholder relationships to support business units and support functions in business target setting and related discussions.
  • Partner with Group Channels, Digital Engagement, FinTech/Strategic Alliance, and Customer Experience teams to enhance the BSC framework aligned to business strategies and priorities.
  • Lead and guide GCD teams in the development of their annual business workplans, ensuring clear business outcomes are established, aligned to Group aspirations, and tracked.
  • Undertake robust business performance analysis, back testing, scenario analysis, and provide necessary management information (MI) to facilitate effective decision-making and reporting.
  • Exercise effective governance and accountability around BSC performance management to continuously assess and flag out risk as well as identify opportunities to close performance gaps.
Requirements
  • A degree in Business and Finance or related field with at least 10 years of relevant performance management experience in the financial industry.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking, corporate-mindedness, and a holistic view of the business, including The Bank's and Business Units' strategies, and ability to draw meaningful linkages to execute effective performance management.
  • Firmness, objectivity, and strong internal and business stakeholder management skills and engagement abilities.
  • A highly analytical mindset and ability to study, rationalize, and make sense of large amounts of complex performance data to tell a story.
  • Innovativeness and ability to create and drive change and improvements in processes to increase work efficiency and productivity.
  • Project management experience to actively participate in and support strategic and business transformation projects across traditional and digital channels/domains as required.
  • Ability to plan strategically, lead, negotiate, influence, handle conflict, and achieve common/win-win outcomes.
  • Willingness to dive into granular performance details as required.
  • Strong sense of commitment and ability to work well independently/team under tight timelines.
  • Agility, good interpersonal, complex problem-solving, and influencing skills, including the ability to work with ambiguity at times.
  • Self-motivated, with strong analytical skills and ability to perform in-depth analysis and impact evaluation.
  • Strong Excel and PPT skills with the ability to build and prepare strategic business presentation decks.
