Audit Quality Specialist

We are seeking driven professionals to support the Head of Quality Control in all aspects of operational audits.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and conduct risk assessments and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory requirements, and internal compliance standards.
  2. Analyse and identify quality control gaps and validate that controls are operating effectively.
  3. Provide refinements to improve controls and enhance quality control standards within service lines and practices.
  4. Conduct independent reviews of audit engagements before opinions are signed.
  5. Carry out root cause analysis and monitor effectiveness of action plans to address quality areas of weakness.
  6. Train, develop technical competencies to ensure capability of employees to maintain quality standards.
  7. Prepare information for regulatory and internal reviews.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5-8 years experience in an audit role in a large firm.
  3. Experienced in quality reviews and/or internal audits preferred.
  4. Able to work independently with strong project management and analytical skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills to communicate across staff and management.
