We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our dynamic global team in Singapore. As a key member of our Renewable Power and Transition, Southeast Asia team, you will play a critical role in identifying, diligencing, executing, and managing new investments in renewable energy infrastructure, opportunities for decarbonization of industrial processes, and low-carbon solution assets across Southeast Asia and the broader Asia Pacific region from Brookfield's infrastructure funds.
- Performing research and leading sections of financial analysis, modelling, and presentations to support the development of investment strategies and identify attractive transaction opportunities.
- Undertaking due diligence across various opportunities and involved in a range of acquisitions, divestments, and asset management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to investment sourcing and execution by targeting and evaluating new investment opportunities in clean energy, business transformations, and low-carbon solutions.
- Assist in developing ideas for potential transactions and deal structures, perform industry research, and evaluate new market segments and potential opportunities.
- Assess potential investments through building detailed financial models to evaluate potential transactions and company/industry research.
- Work with operating teams across the organization as a key aspect of the planning and completion of due diligence.
- Project manage teams across the organization to assess greenhouse gas reduction and development opportunities for potential investments.
- Prepare investment committee materials and other transaction documents.
- Contribute to a flexible, dynamic, and team-oriented working culture that fosters personal development and a positive attitude.
- Identify and assess potential risks and devise appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist with the preparation of high-quality investment committee and co-investor presentation materials and other supporting documents in a clear and concise manner.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in private equity, infrastructure, or renewables investment management, or investment banking.
- Prior exposure to investments in Southeast Asia.
- High-level proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications typically required within an investment analysis role.
- Strong financial modelling skills and experience.
- Sound commercial judgement, ability to clearly articulate a situation, relevant considerations, and make well-reasoned recommendations.
