Job Description

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our team in Singapore. The role represents an exciting opportunity to work with a growing and dynamic global team, supporting the assessment and execution of investment opportunities in renewable energy, industrial energy transition, and hard-to-abate greenhouse gas emissions sectors.

  • The role involves assisting in targeting and evaluating new investment opportunities, developing ideas for potential transactions and deal structures, performing industry research and evaluating new market segments and potential opportunities.
  • You will also assess potential investments through building detailed financial models to evaluate potential transactions and company/industry research, and work with operating teams across the organization as a key aspect of the planning and completion of due diligence.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to investment sourcing and execution, assist in developing investment strategies and identify attractive transaction opportunities, undertake due diligence across various opportunities, and be involved in a range of acquisitions, divestments and asset management initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in clean energy and real assets, who has a minimum of 2 years+ of relevant experience in private equity, infrastructure or renewables investment management, or investment banking, and prior exposure to investments in Southeast Asia.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of investment analyses and financial acumen, including accounting concepts, capital structures, debt securities, valuation techniques, and end-to-end deal processes.
  • High-level proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and other applications typically required within an investment analysis role.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and experience.
  • Clear verbal communication and succinct written communication.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential, additional Asian languages are an advantage.

You will also need to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team.
