Product Management Director

We are seeking a seasoned Product Management Director to lead our product management function across the enterprise.

This role is pivotal in fostering high-performance environments, driving strategic impact and overseeing end-to-end project management.

The ideal candidate will define the product roadmap, work closely with stakeholders to establish product strategy and objectives, and set key outcomes and results that measure success.

  • Lead teams of product managers, QA engineers, and UI/UX designers in managing product development and commercialization
  • Define product roadmaps and work closely with stakeholders to establish product strategies and objectives
  • Create and drive product go-to-market strategies, supporting business plans, market, and competitor analysis based on market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive offerings
  • Manage product lifecycles from concept to launch of products across all product lines
  • Track the competitive landscape and continually seek opportunities for the organization to optimize operations and deploy new products/services in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct user and market research, prioritize, and design new products and features
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of production issues and understand business requirements and practices, providing constructive and insightful inputs for the development of products and features
  • Perform status reporting of initiatives and releases
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in digital product management, with at least 3 years of leadership/people management experience
  • Great people skills paired with a high level of assertiveness
  • Good knowledge and understanding of business and technology
  • User-centred product design, knowledge of practices and disciplines
  • Excellent presentation skills and able to communicate technical information (written and verbal)
  • Experience in start-up companies will be advantageous
  • Strong solution orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven with strong logical and analytical skills
