Package Maintenance Specialist Job Summary

About the Role:


The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex packaging machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. You will be working independently, but as part of a cohesive unit that prioritizes teamwork and open communication.


We are looking for an experienced professional with excellent technical skills and a proactive attitude. If you have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a proven track record in maintaining high-performance machines, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshoot and repair complex packaging machinery, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions;
  • Collaborate with the team to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and ensure smooth operations;
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks, performing predictive and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend machine lifespan;
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to resolve issues and address concerns;
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and performance metrics.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience);
  • At least 3 years of experience in packaging machinery maintenance, preferably in a similar role;
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex systems and identify creative solutions;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures, with commitment to maintaining a safe working environment;
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
