Fire Safety Expert

This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of people and assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the development, production, and deployment of fire safety solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Provide expert advice on fire safety matters, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement fire safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy fire safety solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on fire safety best practices and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as fire science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in fire safety, with a strong background in firefighting foam chemicals, dry chemical powders, fire hoses, hydrants, monitors, and safety products.
  • Extensive knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards, including UL 162, EN 1568, ICAO level B & C, NFPA 11, EN 615, EN 3, and ISO.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and external partners.

Additional Requirements

In addition to the above requirements, we are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has experience working with next-generation synthetic fluorine-free foam (SFFF) and AR-SFFF for hydrocarbon and polar fuels.
  • Can provide technical inputs for foam transition from AFFF-based foam to SFFF.
  • Is familiar with testing criteria for fire extinguishers, including EN 3 and EN 615.
  • Has knowledge of laboratory accreditation processes, including ISO.
