Tile Installation Specialist Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Tile Installation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tile installations meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut and Shape Tiles: Use power tools and hand tools to cut and shape tiles according to specifications.
  • Prepare Surfaces: Prepare various surfaces for tiling by cleaning them properly and applying waterproofing material or lath.
  • Align Tiles: Align tiles with straightedges, levels, and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise.
  • Install Tiles: Install tiles using adhesive materials such as concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue, or mortar.
  • Finish Work: Cut, install, polish, and surface granite and marble to ensure accuracy during the installation process.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 Years Relevant Working Experience: Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Carpentry and Renovation Experience: Previous experience in carpentry and renovation is a plus.
