Transaction Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to oversee the rollout and enhancement of AML/CFT transaction monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of transaction monitoring system enhancements, from requirement gathering to implementation, training, and support.
  • Serving as subject matter expert for AML/CFT transaction monitoring tools, providing guidance during audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assessments.
  • Closely coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver effective AML system solutions and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Managing full project lifecycle activities—defining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables—ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Banking/Finance, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in financial crime compliance or AML system implementation in banking.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, managing complex change initiatives, and working across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations, risk management practices, and transaction monitoring systems.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end system enhancements, from gathering requirements to implementation, training, and support.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of data science concepts or machine learning tools is an advantage.
